I read this article the other day so I thought I would post it.<br />
<br />
After almost five years of declines, Dallas-Fort Worth home prices will edge up in 2012, according to a new forecast.<br />
The D-FW area will be among the top 10 home price gainers this year, according to a report by California-based housing analyst Clear Capital.<br />
Overall home prices in D-FW should rise 5.8 percent by the end of 2012, Clear Capital predicts.<br />
That’s higher than the nationwide forecast of a 0.2 percent price gain.<br />

</ul><ul><li>Place tree at least three feet away from your trash and recycling carts on your regularly scheduled collection day.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Trees must be 5 feet and/or 60 lbs. or smaller. If the tree is over 5 feet or 60 lbs., it must be cut into sections less than 5 feet or less than 60 lbs.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Do not cover trees with a plastic bag, as this will prevent pick up.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Flocked trees (trees with the white snow spray material) are not acceptable in this program. These flocked trees can be collected for a $10 charge by arranging pickup directly through C.W.D. at 972-392-9300.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Do-It-Yourself disposal is also available for all trees at the <a href="http://www.ci.frisco.tx.us/departments/publicworks/environmentalservices/Pages/DoItYourselfTrashDisposal.aspx" target="_blank">CUSTER ROAD TRANSFER STATION</a>.</li>

Frisco Square Development invites you to a Christmas in the Square media night, <strong>Tuesday, November 29, 2010 from 5:45 p.m. – 6:30 p.m</strong>.<br />

Frisco Square Development and the City of Frisco will turn on all the holiday lights at once, “statically,” for this hour to enable the media a unique opportunity to capture the square in all its holiday beauty.<br />
<br />
Christmas in the Square is a dazzling, choreographed holiday lights and music extravaganza, designed by Illumimax LLC, which is heralded as the 3rd largest event in North Texas. Visitors can drive or stroll through and enjoy the shops, restaurants, and holiday display around the square. Most activities are free and aimed to please children and young families.<br />

Christmas in the Square draws over than 500,000 visitors annually. Families, friends and holiday guests from through-out north Texas, the D/FW Metroplex and southern Oklahoma came and enjoyed the spectacular show. Lights! Music! Snow! Holiday lights and music choreographed by Frisco’s own Jeff Trykoski (Illumimax LLC). With over 175,000 lights, 11.5 miles of wiring and 8 miles of extension cords.<br />

On December 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th enjoy nightly favorites such as the Spring Creek Railroad Club’s model train display, horse drawn carriages sponsored by Collin Bank and iBuildSocial, Humvee rides provided by Operation Once in a Lifetime, and popular Trackless Train, visits with Santa, Scallywags Pirate ship concession stand and more. Special one night events include the Saturday, December 10th Parachuting Santa and his elves, sponsored by Babe’s Chicken Dinner House, plus a special surprise event, also returning December 17th is the 3 lane inner-tubing snow slide, hot air balloon glow, and more. Don’t miss your opportunity to ice skate outdoors daily during these holiday festivities.<br />

Therefore, don't expect to see 20 or 30 homes; although it's physically possible to do so, you probably will not remember specific details about any of them.</div>

The 2nd annual Halloween Block Party located in the parking lot of the Christie Ranch Amenity Center. Bring a pumpkin to decorate (not carve) and come dressed up in your Halloween best. Rents are also projected to increase 5% over the next 12 months, with certain markets such as Fort Lauderdale, Fl., Fort Worth, TX, Washington, D.C., and Seattle expected to see higher increases.<br />

</strong><strong>Mortgages are inexpensive.</strong><br />
You can currently get a 30-year loan for around 3.99%. These are the lowest rates on record. Even If inflation picks up, you won't see these mortgage rates again in your lifetime. And if we get deflation, and rates fall further, you can refi.<br />

<strong>You'll save on taxes.</strong><br />
You can deduct the mortgage interest & Property taxes from your income taxes. You'll only get the income tax break if you itemize your deductions, and many people may be better off taking the standard deduction instead. The breaks are more valuable the more you earn, and the bigger your mortgage. But many people will find that these tax breaks mean owning costs them less, often a lot less, than renting.<br />

I had someone come out and help me adjust our automatic sprinkler system last week. In my case I had the watering days and amount of time per zone correct however the time of day it was set for was incorrect. I know this because I got fined $25 by the city of frisco, however I did get this refunded once I had them inspect and adjust my sprinkler system.</div>

I did some investigation and chose the "Rain Bird ESP-SMT4i 4 Zone Indoor Sprinkler Timer with Rain Sensor" $155 and as soon as I can find a spinkler company in Frisco that is able to intalll it ( I contacted two and they both said they did not feel comfortable in installing it) I should never have to worry about being fined again...</div>

The big topic at Monday's Frisco Town Hall meeting was the drought and pending Stage 3 water restrictions. The district would need 15 to 18 inches of rainfall in a 30-day period to catch up. Since that's not going to happen, the district is working on several different plans, including accelerating several pipeline projects and looking to buy water from other sources.</div>

But those plans come with a cost. Frisco City Manger George Purefoy said the district's increased rates to pay for that infrastructure, if it goes through, would mean an 11 percent to 12 percent rate hike for Frisco water customers.</div>

The problem comes wtih the overuse of automated sprinkler systems, which increase the city's daily water use up to five times more. "It's so important that we save every drop of water," he said. "We're certainly going to need it next spring and summer."</div>
